Terms of service

In short: Daily AI helps you keep small daily goals, with an AI Coach that plans with you. The coach is an AI: it can be wrong, and it isn't a doctor, therapist or any other professional. Your goals and notes are yours. Use the app fairly, and you can stop and delete everything at any time.

Who we are

Daily AI is a goal-tracking app (Android app and website) at dailygoal.ai. In these terms, "we" means the people who make Daily AI, and "you" means you, the person using it. Questions: support@dailygoal.ai.

By creating an account or using Daily AI, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, which explains what we store and how you can delete it. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to use Daily AI.
The AI Coach is only for people 18 and over. If you tell the coach you're under 18, it stops replying on your account.
You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure: what happens in your Daily AI account is your responsibility.

The AI Coach

It's an AI, and it can be wrong. Its suggestions, plans, briefings and insights are written by a computer from what you've entered. Check what matters to you, and decide for yourself what to do.
It isn't professional advice. The coach doesn't give medical, mental-health, nutrition, fitness-safety, financial or legal advice, and doesn't replace a doctor, therapist or other professional. Before you change your diet, training, medication or health routine, talk to a professional.
It isn't for emergencies. If you're in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away.
It has fair-use limits. There's a daily and a monthly limit on how much you can use the coach. When you reach one, the coach rests until the date it shows you, and the rest of the app keeps working. We may change these limits, and the coach may sometimes be unavailable.
You can rate or report any of the coach's replies in the app. We read reports to make the coach safer and better.

Your content

Your goals, check-ins, notes and messages stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only as needed to run Daily AI for you (for example, to sync them between your devices and to let the AI Coach answer you), as described in the privacy policy. If you turn on Help improve Daily AI, you also allow us to use your AI Coach chats, with your name and email removed, to improve our coach. You can turn it off at any time.

Fair use

Please don't:

use Daily AI for anything illegal, or to harm, harass or threaten anyone;
try to make the AI Coach produce harmful content, reveal its instructions or other people's data, or get around its safety rules or limits;
try to break, overload or get into parts of the service you shouldn't, or copy it with bots or scrapers;
copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

If an account breaks these rules, we may limit or close it. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why first.

Paid plans

Some features may be offered in a paid plan, Daily AI Pro. If you subscribe:

You pay through Google Play, using your Google account. Google's terms for payments apply too.
A free trial, if offered, turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.
The subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds follow Google Play's refund rules and the consumer law that applies to you.
If the price changes, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Changes to the app

We keep improving Daily AI, so features may change, be added or be removed. If we ever stop the service, we'll tell you in advance and give you time to download your data (Settings → Export data).

Ending your account

You can stop using Daily AI at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play subscription: cancel it in Google Play.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Daily AI running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is", without promises that it will always be available, error-free or right for your purpose. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app or the AI Coach. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or US$50 if you haven't paid anything. None of this limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and disputes go to the competent courts in Tel Aviv. If you live elsewhere and your local consumer law gives you more protection, you keep it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using Daily AI after that, the new terms apply.
